Meditation transforms our mind into a positive state and improves the quality of our life on many levels – our relationships, our family, our work, and our physical and emotional well-being.
In this special evening workshop we will learn how we can develop a powerful daily meditation practice – one that gives us spiritual clarity, confidence, and direction. In particular we will be looking at Lamrim meditation.
Lamrim, or the stages of the path to Enlightenment, is a series of heartfelt meditations that awaken our loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom, and enable us to reach our highest spiritual goals. These ancient meditations are steeped in Buddhist wisdom and are perfectly suited to modern life – helping us to build a foundation of inner peace within our busy & often stressful lives.
Through gaining a special experience of Lamrim we can learn to control our mind, develop a good heart, find meaning in our life, and realize our highest spiritual potential.
The workshop will be followed by a guided meditation retreat based on the book Mirror of Dharma by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
