Tushita KBC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization run by volunteers that has been serving the Conejo Valley area for over sixteen years. All proceeds from this event will go directly towards our community outreach efforts to help those who wish to find inner peace.

8am Meet for Coffee
8:30am Hike begins
Los Robles Trail
(at the end of Moorpark Road)
The hike will be followed by delicious refreshments and a chanted
meditation prayer at Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Center located in The Oaks Mall.
DIRECTIONS:
Meet at the south end of Moorpark Road where it intersects with Greenmeadow Avenue.
Traveling from Agoura Hills - north on the 101 fwy, exit Moorpark Rd and turn left.
Traveling from Newbury Park - south on the 101 fwy, exit Moorpark Rd and turn right.
Drive about a half mile until Moorpark Rd dead-ends. Turn right onto Greenmeadow Ave and an immediate left into a dirt lot for parking. There are also paved parking spaces adjacent to the dirt lot, but you have to enter those from the dirt lot.
TRAIL NAME:
This is the Los Robles Trailhead at the end of Moorpark Rd.
The route we will be hiking is called Los Padres Trail and Vista Loop (in the Los Robles Open Space).
I have copied Steve on this since he suggested the trail and perhaps knows it by another name. Some of our local trails have more than one name. Also, he suggested adding the ‘Brail trail’ to make this a 4 mile hike. We can choose from a few different options for additional ‘out-and-back’ miles the day of.
