Buddhist Wisdom
for Rest & Renewal
Saturday, June 13th 10am-2pm
with Kadam Rebecca Gauthier
Most of us know what it feels like to lie awake at night — mind racing, replaying the day, bracing for tomorrow. We try everything: the right pillow, the right app, the right routine. And still, real rest feels just out of reach.
What if the problem isn’t your sleep — it’s your mind? Buddhist psychology offers something no sleep hack can: a genuine understanding of why the mind won’t quiet down, and practical tools to change that. In this workshop, you’ll discover how simple meditation techniques can release the mental tension that keeps you awake, and how the quality of your rest can transform the quality of your entire life.
No experience with meditation is necessary. Just bring your tired self — and an open mind.
You’ll learn:
∙ Why the mind resists rest and how to work with it skillfully
∙ A simple breathing meditation to ease into sleep
∙ How to process the day’s worries without carrying them into the night
